Incentive Information

Emerald offers a cash rebate for customers to upgrade to a qualified connected thermostat.
$150 per unit cash rebate.
Eligibility
• Building occupied by an active Emerald customer served by a non-residential rate schedule.
• New connected thermostat must replace a thermostat that is not web connected.
• Individual rooms for hotel and motels are not eligible.
• Participant is authorized to make improvements to the facility.
Requirements
• New connected thermostat must be listed on Bonneville’s Qualified Products List.
Steps to Participate
We can help you identify savings opportunities, find qualified contractors, and ensure compliance with program requirements.
1. Confirm eligibility for your program by contacting Emerald's Energy Services.
2. Find approved contractors and get project cost estimates; we suggest getting multiple bids from contractors listed with the Air Northwest Trade Ally program.
3. Submit the Connected Thermostat Incentive Application Form along with contractor invoices showing products installed, installation date, and total project cost.
4. Once installation is complete, contact utility to schedule the final inspection to ensure compliance with the information provided on the incentive application.
5. Utility will authorize rebate payment upon final approval.
6. The rebate will be processed once the inspection is completed.
